When a volume session ends, your maker wallets are often holding tokens. What you do with them matters more than most people expect. A common complaint is: the bot sold everything at the end and the chart dumped. Here is why that happens, and how to avoid it.

Why a big sale hurts

A trading pool has a limited amount of money in it. Every sale takes some out and pushes the price down. A small sale barely moves it. A large sale on a small pool can move it a lot, and a visible drop makes other holders nervous, so they sell too.

The more you sell at once, the bigger the drop. The same total amount, sold in small pieces over time, does much less damage because buyers have time to absorb it.

The four ways to end a session

In the Volume Booster you choose how a session ends:

1. Sell now. Everything is sold straight away and the funds go back to your master wallet. It is the fastest option and has the biggest impact on the chart, so use it when speed matters more than price or when the pool is deep.

2. Sell gradually (2, 4 or 8 hours). The tokens are sold in small pieces spread over the window you pick. It is gentler on the price and often the best choice for a token you want to keep healthy. Network and DEX fees still apply to each sale.

3. Keep the tokens (master wallet). The tokens are moved to your master wallet and you decide later.

4. Keep the tokens (maker wallets). The tokens stay where they are. You can continue later with the same wallets, or sweep them when you are ready.

Which should you pick?

  • Deep pool, small holding: sell now is fine.
  • Thin pool, or a large holding: go gradual, and take the longer window.
  • You believe in the token and want to hold: keep the tokens.
  • You may run another session soon: keep them in the maker wallets and continue.

What happens during a gradual exit

A gradual exit runs on its own in the background. It pays its network fees from your master wallet at first, and returns your SOL, BNB or ETH when it finishes. You can stop it or tap Sell the rest now at any time. Because it uses your master wallet, you cannot change the master wallet while a gradual exit is running.

You can start a new session on a different token while an exit runs. If you start a new session on the same token, the bot warns you, stops the exit and continues with those wallets.

Plan the exit before you start

The best time to choose an ending is before the session begins, not when your wallets are full of tokens. Decide how you want it to finish, and set your budget with fees in mind. Our launch checklist includes a step for it.

Frequently asked questions

Why does selling everything at once crash the price?

Every sale pushes the price down, and a large sale on a small pool pushes it a long way. Sales that follow can push it lower still as other holders react.

How long should a gradual exit take?

It depends on the size of your holding and the pool. A longer window is gentler, and Mentat Booster offers 2, 4 and 8 hours.
